I have never woven in waffle weave before, but I have always been so fascinated by it. When you weave, the pattern is pretty flat, but after one round in the laundry, these pretty little waffles appear. Amazing! But, there is a lot of shrinkage....one of the blankets is pretty small, only 20x26. It would be good for a receiving blanket. The other blanket it about 25x26, a little bigger, but still not big enough to use more than a couple of months.
